Lunch & Learn with Handel Architects

April 11, 2024

We were thrilled to offer our NWFA Course, From the Forest to the Floor, as a Lunch & Learn for Handel Architects, at their offices in New York City.

Handel Architects was founded in 1994 with a commitment to making cities better places to live. They believe that architecture and design matter, and that through their work, they can make a positive difference in the world. They strive to create buildings that are not just things in themselves but serve as catalysts for positive urban and social change.

With over 200 architects and designers in New York, San Francisco, Boston, Denver, and Hong Kong, their work encompasses projects like the National September 11 Memorial, urban infrastructure and master planning projects, high-density mixed-use developments, multi-family projects across all income bands, hotels, corporate headquarters, and buildings for non-profit, institutional, and educational clients around the world.

We were delighted to share a wonderful day discussing design, sustainability, and the process of how exactly a tree becomes hardwood flooring! We were honored that this incredible architecture firm chose our wood flooring showroom to teach this hardwood floors focused L&L.

For over three decades, we have focused our efforts solely on wood floors which gives us a unique and exceptional level of expertise and we love being able to share that knowledge with you. We are proud to offer AIA, NWFA, USGBC | GBCI Continuing Education courses as well as our own PID Floors courses. All courses are available online or as in-person presentations!
