Growing up alongside his family’s business, Steven has always been fully immersed in the world of wood flooring. As the Managing Partner of PID Floors, he is passionately involved in all aspects of the business. He travels the world curating an incredible product selection, maintains partnerships with international flooring companies, and manages all six showrooms nationwide. Since 2014, he has been working with the Hardwood Federation as a lobbyist, traveling to Washington D.C. to meet with Members of Congress to discuss important issues that impact the wood industry in the United States. Steven also works closely with the National Wood Flooring Association as a member of the NWFA’s Government Relations Committee, Membership Steering Committee, and as a Certified National Wood Flooring Inspector.

In 2016, inspired to create a greener and more environmentally friendly company and product inventory, he spearheaded PID Floors’ Sustainability Initiative. Steven was the catalyst in receiving PID Floors’ FSC Certification, adding more LEED Green Associates to the staff (while becoming a LEED Green Associate himself), and creating new Green-Focused AIA courses. Under Steven's leadership, PID Floors proudly announced a Corporate Partnerships with Sustainable Harvest International and American Forests with a commitment to Plant 5,000 Trees.

Steven is committed to being an active participant in the community and in using the business to make a positive impact. In 2022, he created, organized, and hosted the PID Floors Environmental Roundtable Discussion which gathered a multidisciplinary panel of experts together for a spirited conversation about the urgent topics regarding the environment and sustainability in the hardwood flooring, architecture, and design industries. In 2014, he worked closely with the NWFA to host a summit and roundtable discussion with the goal of improving the scope of wood flooring education in both the Architecture & Design and Construction & Development communities in New York. Steven was chosen as a 2024 Emerging Leaders Winner by Floor Focus Magazine, one of Marquis Who's Who for "Dedication to the Flooring Industry," one of the “40 Under 40” by Hardwood Floors Magazine and also as an Ambassador for YJP (Young Jewish Professionals), and you can view the video here.

Steven and his wife are parents to three little girls.
