NWFA CEU Course with KPA

We were delighted to offer our NWFA Course, FROM THE FOREST TO THE FLOOR, as a CEU Course for the award-winning Architectural and Design firm, KPA.

During our lively and interactive CEU Course at KPA’s New York City offices, we explored how US forests are managed and harvested to promote sustainable growth and explained the manufacturing process for both lumber and wood flooring production. We also discussed what happens to wood flooring after it is manufactured and the different ways that wood flooring can be specified and installed.

It is always a true honor to collaborate with Kenneth Park Architects on monumental retail projects such as the LACOSTE New York City flagship. In the spirit of our ongoing design dialogue and collaborative relationship, we were thrilled that KPA’s talented design team, including Head of Special Projects, Antonio Rodriguez, chose our sustainable luxury wood floors company, PID Floors, to guide their NWFA CEU Course. It was a fantastic afternoon filled with wood flooring samples, conversations about material specification for retail design, and our shared enthusiasm for sustainable design. We were also excited to share copies of our new children’s picture book, OUT OF THE CITY, INTO THE FOREST, which was received enthusiastically!
