New NWFA President Stephanie Owen Visits NYC Flagship

At the end of 2025, as we proudly displayed our framed “30 Years of NWFA Membership” Certificate in PID Floors' flagship showroom in New York City, our President, Steven Skutelsky, shared his reflections, thoughts, and gratitude about this indelible decades-long relationship with the National Wood Flooring Association. He wrote about our commitment to paying it forward and paving the way for others in our industry, a sentiment that is especially meaningful for us in 2026, as we begin to expand our PID Mentor program.
At the beginning of this bright new year, we proudly welcomed the NWFA’s new president, Stephanie Owen, the NWFA’s Board Chair, Steve Brattin, and his son, Vito Brattin,
to PID Floors.
Following a group tour of our flagship, Stephanie joined us for a thoughtful conversation, filmed for a new episode of PID’s design video series, BEYOND THE SURFACE. Stephanie is the first female president of the NWFA, and we loved learning about her personal journey within the wood flooring industry. Chatting about her path, her perspective, and our shared vision for the future of the NWFA was a true privilege for the PID Floors team.
Later we were thrilled to host a celebratory luncheon in honor of Stephanie’s visit to NYC and her trailblazing accomplishment, alongside a few of our favorite design industry leaders in the city. It was an incredible day, a true honor, and we cannot wait to share more about all of it with you soon.
