PID Floors enjoyed a delightful summer afternoon with our good friends, AIA NY, at the iconic Maimonides Park for the 2026 Dream Factory x Brooklyn Cyclones Charity game. The Dream Factory of Brooklyn is an all-volunteer, mission-driven organization that makes dreams come true for critically and chronically ill children and the annual Brooklyn Cyclones charity game provides direct support to New York City families navigating chronic illness. Established in 1857, AIA New York is the oldest and largest chapter of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), serving as the collective voice of nearly 5,000 licensed architects, allied professionals, students, and design enthusiasts in New York City. It was an unforgettable day spent alongside talented New York architects, civil engineers, and urban designers talking about sustainable design and the role of hardwood flooring, while also raising money for a deeply meaningful cause.
