PID Floors presents at AIA Brooklyn Event

We were thrilled to join AIA Brooklyn at the Mercury Store this week and to present our NWFA CEU Course, From the Forest to the Floor, during their wonderful monthly networking event. We spent a fantastic evening together discussing the pressing topic of sustainable design and the importance of material selection and education.

During our presentation, we described the ins and outs of US forestry and how they crucially support sustainability practices--from the harvesting of trees to the processing of wood to the distribution of hardwood flooring. We also chatted about current trends in commercial and residential wood flooring.
