Our learning lunch, spent with The Switzer Group’s fantastic design team, focused on exploring the fascinating process of how trees become wood flooring. We talked about how US forests are managed and harvested to promote sustainable growth, what the manufacturing process entails for both lumber and wood flooring production, and what happens to wood flooring after it is manufactured. This course is a perfect pairing for our brand new INTO THE FOREST PID Field Trip.
